Carl rocks using Silverlight

People always think that software technology is somewhat dry and boring.

But to prove the opposite, it can be quite exciting, when used in a skillful and innovative way. See this very impressive showcase by Carl Franklin, a fellow RD from Conneticut. He has recorded a Steely Dan tune using the newest Silverlight technology. The video is amazing and Carl truly a fantastic musician.

MVP Summit 2007 - Bad weather, great people

Arriving in Seattle on Saturday evening I was welcomed by a mean mixture of sprinkles accompanied by heavy winds. It was feeling like walking through a car wash (well, at least it keeps You clean). Nevertheless it is dry and warm inside the conference center and the hotels. :-)

I am having a great time talking to a lot of fellow RD's and MVP's from all over the world.

It is amazing how technology can bring together well-spirited peolpe from all kinds of different cultures and backgrounds. But I have to admit that our Swiss-German team had no chance playing table soccer against an unbeatable Finnish team.
